I am an avid reader of www.firingsquad.com and entered a contest of their to write an article. I scoured the site to see if they had reviewed Guild Wars... which they had in an article titled Guild Wars: Boring?. I noticed that the author apparently never bothered to take his character beyond pre-searing and felt compelled to write my op-ed of Guild Wars.

I am always looking to improve my writing so I would love to ask you guys to go check out my article submission and give it a rating, post a comment or both if you have time to spare.

Thanks to all of you who have potentially helped make this game one of the best games I have ever played.

I didn't get a chance to read this when you posted it on our forums but I did take the time to read it now. I really think its a wonderfully written summary and outline of the game. You covered almost all of the games strong points, though I would of liked to have seen the fact that you can play with others in different servers be promoted a little bit more. SFK and its alliance is a very good demenstration, seeing how we have a guild from Australia if I remember correctly. We also have European players and yet still we can all play together. Also I enjoyed how you showed the influence for each chapter. I am currently in Western Civ and just got done with a lecture on Gothic Culture, which I related to the Kruzicks as well. Also in Nightfall they refer to Pleabians, who are second class citizens from the time of Roman Republic. Very well done Celtor.

Thanks Scorp. I was shocked to see such a poor review of GW until I noticed that the screenshots were only from pre-searing.
